Terms and Conditions of AffordRing
These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legal agreement between AffordRing (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the App”) and you (“you”, “your”, or “the User”), whether you are a buyer or a seller. By accessing or using the AffordRing app, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
- General Provisions
1.1. The AffordRing app is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. We do not take ownership of the goods or services offered by sellers, nor do we have control over their quality or delivery.
1.2. AffordRing reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the services provided by the app at any time and for any reason without prior notice.
1.3. The User agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Cameroon, including those related to e-commerce and online marketplaces.
- User Accounts
2.1. In order to use the AffordRing app, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information.
2.2. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
2.3. Users may not transfer or sell their account to a third party, nor permit any unauthorized person to use their account.
2.4. We reserve the right to terminate any account that violates our terms and conditions or that is used for fraudulent or illegal activities.
- Buying on AffordRing
3.1. When purchasing a product on AffordRing, the buyer is agreeing to purchase the product from the seller at the listed price, subject to any additional fees, taxes, or shipping costs.
3.2. The buyer may contact the seller directly through the app to negotiate the price, ask questions, or request additional information about the product.
3.3. The buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information and for paying any applicable fees or taxes related to the purchase.
3.4. We recommend that buyers carefully review the product description, images, and other information provided by the seller before making a purchase.
3.5. If a buyer is unsatisfied with a purchase, they may be entitled to a refund or return, subject to the seller’s refund policy and our terms and conditions.
- Selling on AffordRing
4.1. Sellers must provide accurate and complete information about their products, including images, descriptions, and pricing.
4.2. Sellers may communicate directly with buyers through the app to negotiate the price, answer questions, or provide additional information about the product.
4.3. Sellers are responsible for shipping the product to the buyer within the specified timeframe and for providing accurate shipping information.
4.4. Sellers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of their products, including those related to product safety and labeling.
4.5. If a seller is unable to fulfill an order, they must promptly notify the buyer and issue a refund, subject to our terms and conditions.
- Payment and Fees
5.1. AffordRing may charge fees for the use of the app, including transaction fees and listing fees.
5.2. Buyers and sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes related to their transactions on the app.
5.3. AffordRing uses third-party payment processors to facilitate payments between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for any errors, delays, or other issues related to these processors.
- Intellectual Property
6.1. AffordRing respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.
6.2. Users may not post or sell products that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others, including trademarks
- Dispute Resolution
7.1. In the event of a dispute between a buyer and a seller, we encourage the parties to communicate directly and attempt to resolve the dispute amicably.
7.2. If the parties are unable to reach a resolution, we may, at our discretion, offer mediation or other dispute resolution services.
7.3. Any disputes arising from the use of the AffordRing app shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Cameroon.
- Limitation of Liability
8.1. AffordRing shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, arising from the use of the app or the sale or purchase of goods or services through the app.
8.2. AffordRing makes no warranties or representations regarding the quality, safety, or legality of the products or services offered by sellers on the app.
- Indemnification
9.1. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless AffordRing and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from their use of the app or their breach of this Agreement.
- Termination
10.1. AffordRing may terminate this Agreement or suspend a user’s account at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to violation of our terms and conditions.
10.2. Upon termination, the User’s access to the app will be immediately revoked, and any outstanding transactions will be cancelled.
- Privacy Policy
11.1. AffordRing collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
- Modifications to the Agreement
12.1. AffordRing may modify this Agreement at any time and without prior notice.
12.2. The User’s continued use of the app after any modifications to the Agreement shall constitute their acceptance of the modified Agreement.
- Entire Agreement
13.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the User and AffordRing and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
13.2. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By using the AffordRing app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
15.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cameroon.
15.2. Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cameroon.
- Assignment
16.1. Users may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of AffordRing.
16.2. AffordRing may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under this Agreement without notice to the User.
- Force Majeure
17.1. AffordRing shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, earthquakes, or strikes.
- Waiver
18.1. The failure of AffordRing to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other provision of this Agreement.
- Survival
19.1. The provisions of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
- Acceptance
20.1. By registering for and using the AffordRing app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
- Language
21.1. This Agreement is drafted in the English language. If there are any inconsistencies or conflicts between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.
- Feedback
22.1. AffordRing welcomes feedback from its users regarding the app and its services.
22.2. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas provided by a user to AffordRing may be used by AffordRing without restriction or compensation to the user.
- Third-Party Services
23.1. The AffordRing app may include links to third-party services, such as payment processors or shipping providers.
23.2. AffordRing is not responsible for the performance or availability of any third-party services, and the use of such services is subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party provider.
- Notices
24.1. AffordRing may provide notices to users through the app, by email, or by posting on the AffordRing website.
24.2. Users may provide notices to AffordRing by email or by mail to the address provided on the AffordRing website.
- Interpretation
25.1. The headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and shall not affect its interpretation.
25.2. The singular includes the plural, and vice versa.
25.3. The words “include” and “including” shall be construed as meaning “including without limitation.”
25.4. References to any statute or regulation shall include any amendments or re-enactments thereof.
- Entire Agreement
26.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the User and AffordRing and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
26.2. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
